 written piecemeal, while cooking dinner.

So... i'm watching Luoyang. and at this point, the only reason i'm still going is sheer stubborness and completionist. None of the conspiracy makes sense-- and yes, i know that i'm supposed to just forget the previous layer once we get a new one, but that's not how my brain works?-- and i keep waiting for Wife to either die horribly or turn out to be a bad guy. I've got... 9 more episodes to go, so at this point, it's just suck it up and finish.

At least Sunday night is watching Word of Honor with either Guardian or something Korean after. Maybe Tale of the Nine Tailed, which is unfortunately het, but is pretty entertaining. I should hit folks up for recs-- GL would be amazing, but I'll take BL too. (we're... at least 9 weeks away from finishing WoH, so there's no rush.)

Dad decided he would rather go on a float/bike trip in Iowa this weekend instead of do anything with 2/3 of his children, so I'm not in KC this weekend. Which helps a lot with my stress levels, even if they're still ridiculously high for someone who has zero to do at work right now. New plan for this weekend is to *finally* set up my patio for summer, maybe weed whack if there's time tomorrow between rain storms. If there isn't time, I'm going to try to make myself a new pair of pants (and, since those are mostly straight lines, probably continue watching Kotaro Lives Alone because i'm one of those freaks who can craft and read subtitles).

Jury Duty next week. which means I need to locate a physical book i can read while also knitting on the off chance they have me come in. Since apparently no electronics include e-readers. ugh. Prolly MDZS or Stars then... or better plan, the binder of articles off JSTOR for fic research. Yeah, that's the right thing to do.

I need to figure out how to tell Tidal that me liking 1 song in spanish does not mean i want my entire daily discovery to be in spanish. Not that i've been real big on anything on the algorithm has decided i needed to listen to for like the last 3 weeks. Metric shitton of american pop and top 40, which isn't bad. but it's why i have a streaming service. Tidal is for discovering new music, not ... whatever this is. At least it handed me Dorothy AND Halestorm's new albums, and the Hu's new single (still impatiently waiting for a new album from them). Looks like my New Arrivals playlist might be worth listening to this week, i'll have to throw it on after while.

And now I should get off here and figure out what i'm going to write this evening. Probably should just accept that WWX is near death and lean into that. Which means being sober.
