Dean is FINE. Sure, his soulmark has faded so much that he’ll never know it if he meets his markmate, and his entire family is more interested in sending him to every psychic who might be able to help than actually listening to what he wants, but he’s FINE. Admittedly, it’s values of fine that mostly mean depressed and alone while trying to figure out how to get his family off his back.
Except the last psychic they send him to gets stuck in his head and Dean can’t quit thinking about Crowley, or his husband Castiel.
